Keyboard shortcuts

Quite a few of them are unknown to people or simply overlooked, so here's a shortlist of the important default ones and what they do.
For lists on more keyboard functions simply open rf2/Settings/Controls and check what they have to offer in the tabs on the right. click a function and press a key to bind. Enter to confirm/Escape to get out.
Ignoring the usual ones like request pit/clutch/neutral/etc. they should be the first things a driver binds.

General Functions

On-screen adjustments

Driving Aids when on track

Press multiple times for different values. can also be set in rf2/settings/difficulty.

Camera functions when on track, live viewing or in replay

Very useable for video makers, keep in mind that the back-button (rear view) effectively doubles every car-cam you can find.

Additionally you can alter the way the cockpit is placed in-game (wheels & suspension/just wheels) in your userdata/player/player.PLR:
Partial Cockpit View="0" 0=normal cockpit view, 1=wheels & suspension only, 2=wheels only

replay controls

changing Seat position and Mirror angles

The default keys are somewhere (kinda forgot) but this is pretty important so press keys until you found them (will give sounds for seat & Mirrors) or bind them in rf2/settings/controls.

There are 4 keys to move the seat (up/down/forwards/backwards)

Change your (virtual) mirrors (zoom in/out/tilt/etc) using the Alt + seat key/shift + seat key/CTRL + seat

Tool Tip:
When viewing your skin in Garage you are able to zoom in/out, release cam and move the car through the garage.
If you are using the 'car screenshot' showroom, change to one of the other 2 and you can then rotate around the car by holding the left mouse button and moving the mouse
zoom in and out by holding the right mouse button and moving the mouse.
You can also hold the left mouse button then hold down the right mouse button in addition to it and move the camera off centre with mouse movement.

In Userdata/player/player.plr change Miscellaneous="0" to Miscellaneous="1" which allows you to move around the car.
